One evening, two night views – come along on this tour for a mesmerizing view of Sapporo’s sparkling city lights. First, we are heading up to Mt. Afterward, we will head back to the city for a ride on the TV Tower to enjoy a closer view of the city. We can see the whole of Odori Park area, and with events going on throughout the year, it’s a lively beautiful evening viewspot.  Depending on the weather and season (if there is a festival or beer garden in the park) we will finish this tour in Odori Park or head to a local ramen store for food, refreshing drink and relaxed conversation.

About Sapporo

Sapporo, the capital of Hokkaido, is a grid-planned city of wide parks, an annual snow festival, miso ramen and mountains close behind.

Sapporo was laid out as a grid in the 1870s, when Japan's government developed the northern island, so its streets are wide and straight, split by Odori Park, a long green strip through the middle. The red-brick former Hokkaido government building and the white clock tower, both from the Meiji period, recall that era, and the Hokkaido Shrine lies in a wooded park in the west.
