The Reykjavik CatWalk Join us in Reykjavik for a Cattastic private Walking tour of downtown Reykjavik. This is a private City Walking Tour with a firm focus on our feline companions. We will follow in the Paw Prints of cats since the settlement of Iceland. Together we will explore the myths about Cats in Iceland and the world? We will even explore tails from Cat’s Hiss-story throughout the world. Included in our tour is even a visit to a coffeehouse to sip on Coffee or Hot Cocoa and taste Icelandic pastry. If we are fur-fortunate enough and the Cat gods allow, there is the Paw-sibility that we catch a glimpse of the most famous Cats of downtown Reykjavik, Baktus, Jonsi, and Ofelia to name a few. We will start up by the pillars at Ingólfur Square and our final destination is the Statue Garden of Einar Jonsson by Hallgrimskirkja Church. This is a Purrfect 2 hour City Walk in Reykjavik for Cat Lovers
We meet up at a fitting place, or the two stone pillars, the monument to the start of the Settlement of Iceland. Where did the Cats of Iceland come from?
Short walk from our meeting spot, through this downtown Reykjavik area
We quickly check out Icelandic cat related books, like the story of the Christmas Cat
A brief stop with furrtastic tails
We stop for a little while admiring the Reykjavik pond and its birdlife. Just imagining how it would be a cat in those circumstances.
We pass by the oldest college of Reykjavik, that some say dates back to 1056.
We try to catch a glimpse of the resident cat and some of the beautiful cat designs of this cool store
We walk along Laugavegur, the main shopping street of Reykjavik for a short while
We pass by Hallgrímskirkja on our way to the sculpture garden of Einar Jonsson
Our final stop is at the Sculpture Garden of Einar Jonsson

Reykjavik is the northernmost capital of any nation, a colourful, compact city of art and music that opens onto Iceland's volcanic landscapes.
The landmark Hallgrímskirkja church, its tower inspired by basalt columns, rises above streets of brightly painted houses. Down by the harbour, the glass-fronted Harpa concert hall shimmers on the water, and the Sun Voyager sculpture faces the sea toward Mount Esja. Laugavegur, the main shopping street, is lined with design shops, cafés and bars.
Top-ranked sights in Reykjavik: Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss, Harpa.
