  1. Lallybroch Featured as Lallybroch in Outlander, Midhope is situated on the Hopetoun House Estate. This is a 16th century tower house that is derelict but beautiful. You will be able to walk up the drive and get some photographs at the favoured and iconic location. Filming for season 7 and for the prequal to the show may be taking place in 2023. As a result this location is subject opening and filming restrictions.

  2. Fort William Blackness is a stunningly preserved castle sitting on the banks of the river Forth. Originally built as a prison this was used to hold Jacobites during the rebellion of the 18th century. This location was famously used as Fort William in Outlander. The base of Black Jack Randall.

  3. Wentworth Prison A 14th century Palace ruin Linlithgow Palace is the birth place of Mary Queen of Scots and was used as Wentworth Prison in Outlander. The Palace is closed internally at this time, but access to grounds and exterior photographs are possible.
