This tour takes you to two of the gems of the area. First you will visit Hitler's famous villa, known as the Eagle's Nest, perched atop the Kehlstein. You'll pass through a marble-lined tunnel and then take a lift powered by a turbine from a World War II submarine. Then visit Salzburg, dominated by the majestic 11th century fortress. Here you have the opportunity to visit the castle and explore this fairytale city. All this in the comfort of a private car with an English-speaking local driver who knows the area and will be happy to share information with you. You choose your own pick-up date and time for a hassle-free door-to-door transfer. Our driver is friendly and available at all times. If you have any requirements, just let us know and we will take care of everything. The driver will be happy to stop at any location for you to take perfect photos. We do this job with love every day and are able to provide you with a comfortable transfer to/from anywhere in Europe.
The Eagle's Nest or Kehlsteinhaus was built in 1937-1938 as a gift for Hitler's 50th birthday. The building is an architectural masterpiece with fantastic views, rising on a narrow rocky ridge at an altitude of 1,834 metres in the middle of the Bavarian Alps near the Alpine town of Berchtesgaden. A visit to the Eagle's Nest is fascinating, your private English-speaking driver will take you to the car park, where a local bus will take you along a steep 6.5km long path carved into the rock. In 15 minutes you'll climb 700 metres. But that's not all. When you reach the upper car park, you'll have to walk through a marble-lined tunnel and then take a luxurious period lift up another 124 metres. There, you'll find not only the interior of the once-famous villa, but also the restaurant and, of course, stunning panoramic views of the Alps.
When you've had enough of the Eagle's Nest and the beauty of the Alps, a comfortable private transfer awaits you to the next gem. The imposing Hohensalzburg Fortress is the largest surviving fortress in Central Europe and offers breathtaking 360° panoramic views. It was originally built as a defensive fortress in 1077 by Archbishop Gebhards and is located on top of the Festungsberg hill. It still occupies a dominant position here today and looks down on the city of Slazburg as its eternal guardian. Inside the castle there are several museum exhibitions. On the third floor are the original Rooms, which include the Prince's Hall, the Golden Chamber and the Golden Hall. The furnishings of these rooms are original and have remained unchanged since 1501/1502.

Munich is the Bavarian capital, with a rebuilt old town, beer gardens, royal palaces and the Alps visible on clear days to the south.
Marienplatz, the main square, is overlooked by the neo-Gothic New Town Hall, whose Glockenspiel chimes with mechanical figures, and by the twin onion-domed towers of the Frauenkirche. The Viktualienmarkt close by is a food market with a beer garden. The Residenz, the former home of Bavaria's rulers, has lavish halls and a treasury, and Nymphenburg Palace stands in a park to the west.
Top-ranked sights in Munich: Neuschwanstein Castle, Marienplatz, Odeonsplatz.
