The Efteling is an amusement park and recreation complex in Kaatsheuvel, a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. The Efteling is the largest amusement park in the Benelux in terms of visitor numbers and surface area. The park is one of the oldest theme parks in the world that is still open: the Efteling nature park opened on May 11, 1951. On May 31, 1952, the Fairytale Forest also opened.
