You’ll also appreciate port life as the locals did – and still do – by visiting a pub for a refreshment included in your ticket price. Participants under 18 will receive a non-alcoholic drink, while adults have a choice of an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage. We’ll make sure you get the most out of the Port by sending you a recommendations list after your tour!

We visit key landmarks around the area, such as the abandoned Hart's Mill building (an old flour mill), and jail cells in what used to be the old police station. There's a pub stop for your included drink, and important streets of the Port such as Lipson Street.
We take a look at Dock 2 from a distance, explaining the importance of maritime life along the Port River and the ships that were vital to the growth of settlement in the area's early days.
This is where we end the tour, and take a group photo that is sent to you via email after your experience. You can climb the tower at a small cost, but at the time of writing this is unavailable because of COVID restrictions.

About Adelaide
Adelaide is a relaxed, green capital of South Australia, laid out as a grid inside a ring of parkland, with wine country and beaches close by.
Colonel William Light planned Adelaide in 1837 as a tidy grid of streets and five squares, then circled it with the parklands that still separate the centre from the suburbs. North Terrace lines up the state library, art gallery, museum and university, and the Torrens River runs through the middle, with the Adelaide Oval on its bank. Rundle Mall and the Central Market cover shopping and food.
