About Pamukkale
Pamukkale is a hillside of dazzling white travertine terraces in western Turkey, topped by the ruins of the Roman spa city of Hierapolis.
Pamukkale, meaning cotton castle in Turkish, is a long slope of white travertine terraces and shallow pools, formed by mineral-rich hot water running down the hillside.
