You'll get to spend a few hours exploring the zoo at your own pace – a great day out for the whole family. Venture in and wander from enclosure to enclosure in your own time. Meet all the residents, big and small, make sure you catch the famous parrot show and take the kids down to the children's farm where they can pet and interact with friendly animals. There's also everything from elephants and giraffes all the way to guinea pigs and porcupines. You'll also encounter colourful birds such as flamingos and reptiles like snakes and tortoises. What's more, the park has all the facilities you'll need including a snack bar, restaurant and souvenir shop.

About Paphos

Paphos is a harbour town on Cyprus's south-west coast, with Roman mosaics, ancient tombs, a seafront fort and the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite nearby.

Paphos is split between the harbourside Kato Paphos, where most of the ancient sites lie, and the hillside town of Ktima above it. Kato Paphos is a World Heritage site, with the floor mosaics of Roman villas such as the House of Dionysos, the ruins of an odeon and a small fort at the harbour mouth. Nearby, the Tombs of the Kings are rock-cut burial chambers dating from the 4th century BC.
