About Toulon
Toulon is France's main Mediterranean naval base, a Provençal port with a deep natural harbour, an old-town market and a cable car up Mont Faron.
Toulon lies on a deep, sheltered harbour backed by limestone ridges, and has been home to the French Mediterranean fleet for centuries.
