  1. You will be picked up from Moshi town and drive to Materuni village about 15 km up on the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro approximately 1800M above the sea level and notice the change of weather with cooler climate,lush green landscape.After registration you begin the hike to waterfalls about 45 minutes along banana and coffee farms with breathtaking view along the way Later you will return to the village for a Coffee tour at a home of a local and learn how Coffee is being cultivated; dried, roasted and further processed .You will also be invited to participate on preparation and savour a cup of coffee you helped to make After your Coffee tour you will drive back for Moshi town tour and learn the history of the town,visit market,observe how multicultural local people co exist peacefully despite their different religion,ethnicity and political different and finish the day with a drink at one of the best rooftop bar with great view of town and Mt. Kilimanjaro on a clear day

About Moshi

Moshi is a friendly market town on the lower slopes of Kilimanjaro, the main base for climbing Africa's highest mountain.

Kilimanjaro's snow-capped summit towers over the town on clear mornings, and Moshi is where most climbers prepare and later celebrate. Routes such as Marangu and Machame start at park gates a short drive away, while Lemosho sets off from the far western side of the mountain, climbing through farmland, rainforest, heath and alpine desert to the glaciers near Uhuru Peak.
