Japanese food can be intimidating. As a chef, I love talking about food and making it easy to understand for visitors. Note, reservations cannot be made at standing bars, so venues may change depending on availability.

  3. Opened in October 2025, this is a sleek standing bar that specializes in soba (buckwheat) noodles made in Kyoto, along with sake from all over Japan. Beer and Shochu also available. Water is provided but no soft drinks are sold. (Venue may change due to availability)
