The name and the importance of the city are closely related to the 25 years of activity of your national hero, Skanderbeg, who in the fifteenth century made Kruja a bastion of uncompromising resistance against the Ottoman. Perfect for a half day tour from Tirana, for families, friends, couples, singles and childrean. A combinitation of history, amazing views form the castle, mountain of Sarisalltic, old Baazar and delicous food in the traditional restaurants nearby. The old Baazar, dates back to the period of Skanderbeg. After around one hour driving you are in Kruja and we continue the first visit to the Castle of Kruja, which houses Skanderbeg’s Museum. It was the epicenter of the legendary Albanian resistance to the Ottomans, led by national hero Skanderbeg in the 15th century
