Kayak trip along the Iguazu River Explore the Iguazu River by navigating between small jumps and tributary streams in a unique nature and adventure experience. Kayaking paddles will depend on the weather of the day: we usually sail the first hour, then pause to rest, enjoy the scenery and have some refreshments, and finally paddle the last hour until returning to the starting point. The kayaks we choose for you will depend on your weight and height, so we customize the activity for your safety and comfort. This is a different way to live the experience of Iguazu Falls, watching them from the river and connecting with their natural environment. Throughout the tour, you will be accompanied by a professional instructor and receive a brief technical talk on security, geographic location and recommendations to make the most of the experience.
Iguazu River Kayak Crossing
We carry out two daily kayak trips, of the recreational type (walk), starting from the local port on the 1.5 km of the Iguazu River, ascending towards the Park National, passing under the Tancredo Neves International Bridge linking the cities of Puerto Iguazu (Argentina), with Foz de Iguazu (Brazil) and sailing to the National Park boundary at km 5.
The tour starts and ends at the local port (transfers are carried out by the passengers). Includes, double crossing kayak, oars, life-saving vests, cockpit covers, bags watertight for personal items and a person in charge throughout the journey. Prior technical talk by the instructor, geographical location, restrictions, limitations.
All sales are final. No refund is available for cancellations.
Puerto Iguazú is a small Argentine town where the Iguazú and Paraná rivers meet, close to the waterfalls of Iguazú National Park.
The town stands on a red-earth bluff above the meeting of two rivers, with Brazil on one bank and Paraguay on the other. A lookout called the Hito Tres Fronteras faces both countries across the water. Most people come for the falls, some twenty kilometres upriver inside the national park, where the Iguazú splits into roughly 275 separate drops and the largest, the Devil's Throat, pours into a U-shaped chasm.
Top-ranked sights in Puerto Iguazú: Iguazu Falls, Devil's Throat (Garganta del Diablo), La Aripuca.
