This 4 hour private tour will take you on a journey to discover the history of Santorini. Known for its beauty, the important history of Santorini is often overlooked. This tour will enlighten you with the rich history of the island, with the chance to explore the fantastic preserved prehistoric ruins of Akrotiri. You will have the chance to walk through the 4,000-year-old site, one of the most significant prehistoric settlements of the Aegean. You will receive wine tasting tips from your English speaking wine expert and you will have the opportunity to walk through vineyards on the volcanic soils and discover the local techniques.

About Santorini

Santorini is a crescent of volcanic cliffs in the Aegean, where whitewashed villages and blue domes look over a flooded caldera to famous sunsets.

The island is the rim of an ancient volcano whose eruption left a vast caldera filled by the sea.
