  3. Joshua tree plants are exclusively found in the southwestern United States (including Arizona, Southern California, Nevada and Utah) and northwestern Mexico, mainly in the Mojave Desert. In fact, it is considered an indicator species for the Mojave Desert – that is, if you spot a Joshua tree, chances are you’re in the Mojave Desert!

The Strip, a long boulevard of resorts, is the heart of the action, with replicas of Paris, Venice and ancient Egypt, dancing fountains, and observation decks and thrill rides high above the street. Shows range from acrobatic circus spectaculars and magic to concert residencies, and restaurants run by star chefs sit beside lavish buffets.
