During this 1-hour private walking tour, you'll go behind-the-scenes as you hear expert commentary about the United States’ first president and his historic estate. This tour includes some of the gardens and grounds. You'll also have the opportunity to lay a wreath at the Washington family tomb. Following the private tour, you are welcome to continue your visit with self-guided exploration of the Museum and the Distillery & Gristmill (seasonal). About Washington DC
Washington, DC is the US capital, a planned city on the Potomac, with a National Mall of monuments and museums and cherry trees in spring.
Washington was planned as a capital in the 1790s, with broad avenues radiating from the Capitol.
