This tour is essential to learn about the wonderful glaciers that surround the National Park, because it is the only one that takes us to two of the most significant glaciers: Upsalaand Spegazzini, which it would be impossible to reach otherwise. You will descend on the Spegazzini Canal for 1 hour and a half where you can hike through the forest and enjoy a spectacular view of the Spegazzini Glacier like never before from the recently opened Spegazzini Refuge located in front of this glacier and on the shores of Lake Argentino. At the landing, a 300-meter path will be crossed without difficulty through the forest along the coast of the lake making stops at viewpoints overlooking the entire Bay of Glaciers. Upon arrival at the Spegazzini Refuge, you can have lunch, visit the shop and contemplate the landscape from inside or from the outside terrace.
In the late morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel from 11:30 and you will head towards the Private Port of Punta Bandera, 47 kilometres away from the city of El Calafate. We will drive by Route 11 to Los Glaciares National Park and will skirt the main part of Lake Argentino to Puerto Bandera's private port, arriving around 12:30 am after paying the entrance to the National Park Los Glaciares ( Not included). We will be quickly informed about the safety and seaworthiness and we will then embark on a modern BOAT Catamaran at 13:30 am, to start navigating between icebergs in the frozen waters of Lake Argentino, up to Upsala Glacier. Sailing through Brazo Upsala, another channel of the Argentino Lake, we will observe the highest Glacier, Spegazzini, almost 135 meters high and meet an impressive barrier of icebergs. We will then sail towards the Seco Glaciers and to observe other channels and Glaciers. Around 19:30, we will start to go back to Punta Badera's Port, from where you will be taken back to your hotels. * The tour can be modified depending on weather conditions and safety and the decision of the captain of the boat.

El Calafate is a small Patagonian town on the shore of Lago Argentino, the base for the Perito Moreno Glacier and Los Glaciares National Park.
El Calafate lies on the south shore of Lago Argentino, a milky turquoise lake fed by glacial meltwater, with the Andes on the western horizon. The town is named after the calafate, a thorny shrub with dark berries, and a local saying promises that anyone who eats them will return to Patagonia. It was founded in the 1920s to serve the surrounding sheep estancias and now exists chiefly as the gateway to Los Glaciares National Park.
Top-ranked sights in El Calafate: Los Glaciares National Park (Parque Nacional Los Glaciares), Perito Moreno Glacier, Argentino Lake (Lago Argentino).
