أبرز ما فيها

Walk in Freud's footsteps — and discover your own Acropolis. Freud on the Acropolis is not a conventional guided tour. Led by a facilitator, this intimate experiential walk retraces Freud's journey through Athens, combining his fascinating true story with carefully designed moments of personal reflection. In 1904, Sigmund Freud came to Athens and experienced something extraordinary on the Acropolis — a moment he tried to explain 32 years later. You don't need to know anything about Freud or psychology. Follow his footsteps. Reach the Acropolis. And leave Athens with a question you may remember long after your journey ends: What is your Acropolis?

About Athens

Athens sets the Acropolis above a sprawling modern capital, where ancient ruins, hillside lanes and long taverna evenings sit side by side.

The Parthenon crowns the Acropolis, flanked by the Erechtheion and its porch of caryatids, and the Acropolis Museum at the foot of the hill displays sculpture found on the rock. Around it, the Ancient Agora, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch and the marble Panathenaic Stadium make the classical city easy to walk through.

Top-ranked sights in Athens: Acropolis, Parthenon, Acropolis Museum.
