3. The old prision of Freising was once in the ground level of the old city hall. In 1663 the "Oswald-Huberische House“ was bought by the city and transformed into the city's court. During the court cases against child-witchcraft of Freising, in the 18th century, it became known as the "witch tower". Later in the 19th century and with the secularization of Bavaria, it became a civil court in 1802, after which it was used as the court's prison until 1965.

4. The Cathedral of Freising was originally constructed in romanesque style and is the co-cathedral of the Catholic Archdiocese of Munich and Freising. It's also known as the place where Pope Benedict XVI was ordained a priest. It was built in the 12th and 13th century after the previous church was destroyed in a fire. It houses the tomb of St. Corbinian, the patron saint of the bishopric, located in the four-nave crypt of the cathedral. The rococo interior was a work of Cosmas Damian Asam and Egid Quirin Asam, famous for the Asam Church of Munich.
