The culinary art of Chefchaouen is shared by most of the Mediterranean cities. Chefchaouen is a small charming town located in the foothills of the Megou and Tisouka mountains. They rise above the town like two horns. They even named the city. Chefchaouen means “Look at the Horns” in the old native Amazigh Language. The nature that gave birth to this city made it one of the cleanest in Morocco with little car traffic. The clean and fresh air of this blue city invites you to stay and discover the Medina; a beautiful unique city with its white and blue washed walls and its blue doors and windows. Unlike many parts of Morocco, this city was occupied by Spain and the influences of Spanish civilization and architecture are all around.
