Sweimah is a resort area on Jordan's Dead Sea shore, the lowest dry land on Earth, where the salty water holds swimmers afloat.

Sweimah, also spelt Sweimeh, lies on the north-eastern shore of the Dead Sea in Jordan, where the land falls to more than 430 metres below sea level, the lowest dry land on Earth. The lake's water is nearly ten times as salty as the ocean, so bathers float without effort, and its mineral-rich mud is spread over the skin.
