Have a great ceramic making experience! Get the chance to express yourself through pottery in this 3 hours ceramic workshop. Come with your friends or with your kids and play with clay while learning the basic skills of ceramic art. Make your own ceramics under the directions of ceramic artist Dionysia Avouri, the owner of Adamieion Ceramic Art Studio. During the workshop you create a turtle and a second more free form, with the style and decoration depending on your creativity and imagination! You paint your ceramics and then we fire your creations and you collect them after three (3) days or we send them to your home. The studio is located in a pleasant environment among olive trees and vineyards. Admire some of the oldest olive trees on the island, aged about 1.500-2.000 years old! You are welcome to play and create with clay, away from the noisy tourist resorts. 5First class experience
This was such a fun addition to our vacation. The location of the house is beautiful and peaceful. Our host went above and beyond with the pottery experience and hospitality. You get to make two pieces that you can take home, making it a great souvenir and not the standard stuff you find in every tourist shop. The owner makes amazing pieces that you can purchase as well. We each bought a few when we went back to pick up our pottery. She packaged them up nicely for us so that we could get them home in one piece. She even offered us a ride back to our hotel to save us taxi fare. She was beyond pleasant with great island history to share as her father owned/ farmed olive trees. Overall we walked away with a memorable experience and souvenir. I would recommend this activity to everyone visiting the island!

5Unique experience in Zakynthos
We had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend booking this during your visit to zakynthos. We learned about the traditional techniques of ceramic making and created two beautiful pieces each. It was very hands on and we learned techniques we can use again. We appreciate the love that our instructor put into the class.

5Whimsical experience
Highlight of the trip! Dyonisia is kind, knowledgeable, and takes extra care to make sure the creations survive the firing process. Stunning location, her shop is like a gallery itself- got some unique and beautiful pieces from there. Can't recommend enough!

About Zakynthos

Zakynthos, also called Zante, is an Ionian Greek island known for the Navagio shipwreck cove, sea caves and turtles that nest on its southern beaches.

Zakynthos lies off the west coast of the Peloponnese, a green island with a fertile central plain, olive groves and tall cliffs on its western side. The Venetians called it the flower of the east. Zakynthos Town, rebuilt after the earthquake of 1953, spreads along the harbour with a long waterfront, arcades and Solomos Square, named after Dionysios Solomos, the poet whose verses became the Greek national anthem.
