Visiting Caral you will experience the first cradle of civilisation emerged in about 5000BC, these ancient people with bountiful food on hand in the rich ocean, rose at around the same time as five other major civilisations in the world.   3. Caral is located near Peru’s central Pacific coast. It’s about a 4 hours drive from Lima, the guided walking tour there is about 1 or 1.5 hr, and as such this tour is offered as a full-day adventure. The city site of Caral is almost 5,000 years old, making it the oldest city in the Americas. It spreads over 150 acres and includes plazas, residential buildings, temples, pyramids, and an amphitheater. During the tour, you’ll enjoy seeing the main pyramid, the courtyards and amphitheater. The views of the surrounding valley are impressive.

  4. After enjoying a delicious Peruvian lunch, we will visit the archaeological complex of Bandurria, an old fishing village.
