The Dohány Great Synagogue is the second largest functioning synagogue in the entire world. The building was built in 1859 by Ludwig Förster in the Moorish style and is unique for its structure and because it includes an organ. In the building complex there is a memorial garden and a cemetery as well. This curiosity has been part of European heritage since 2017. The street next to it was used as the gate to the ghetto during the Second World War. You will have the opportunity to learn about the history of the Jewish community. The Rumbach Synagogue is a recently renovated Orthodox synagogue. The interior is beautiful with the torah reading table. The building was erected in 1873 to designs by Otto Wagner.
Very popular ruin bar in the Erzsébetváros district, one of the first bars founded which had the aim of keeping the original image of the houses, using second-hand furniture, creating an atmosphere that is reminiscent of a Mediterranean country where plants are integrated into the courtyard. The style of the place is eclectic, a little bohemian.

Budapest joins hilly Buda and flat Pest across the Danube, a grand capital of thermal baths, riverside palaces and lively ruin bars.
On the Buda side, Castle Hill holds Buda Castle, the Matthias Church and the white turrets of Fishermen's Bastion, all looking down on the river. The Chain Bridge crosses to Pest, where the Hungarian Parliament Building stretches along the bank and St Stephen's Basilica rises a few streets inland. Gellért Hill and its Citadella give the widest views.
Top-ranked sights in Budapest: House of Parliament (Országház), Buda Castle (Budai Vár), Chain Bridge (Széchenyi Lanchid) .
