You will spend 4 days with a professional, local guide and naturalist exploring in a small vehicle (suburban or larger vehicle). You will traverse Yellowstone National Park in search of wildlife such as wolves, elk, bison, mule deer, moose, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, bald eagles, fox, and coyotes in Lamar Valley. Guests will have ample photo opportunities to capture the wondrous winter wildlife and landscape of Yellowstone, and should expect to be getting in and out of the vehicle throughout the day to view wildlife. Binoculars and scope will be provided on each tour to view wildlife that is far away.

About Gardiner

Gardiner is a small Montana town on the Yellowstone River at the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park, by a stone arch and near hot springs.

Gardiner sits where the Gardner River flows into the Yellowstone River, on the northern edge of Yellowstone National Park in southern Montana. A stone arch, the Roosevelt Arch, stands at the park entrance, built in 1903 and carved with words describing the park as for the benefit and enjoyment of the people. The town is small, with log buildings, a main street and a few restaurants, hemmed in by mountains.
