Our museum is a unique blend of detailed handmade art, traditional storytelling, and modern digital technologies. The exhibits incorporate augmented reality features that superimpose moving elements and sound on the art you can see. In addition, the museum is equipped with immersive technologies and interactive elements, all of which expand on the physical exhibit and bring you further into the world of fairy tales. This translates into a unique museum experience where you can dip your toes into Norwegian folklore and discover how the idea of trolls has changed over time. The museum also has a number of board games and creativity zones where you can have some fun, as well as a small library stocked with books of fairy tales.

Bergen is Norway's rainy fjord capital, a harbour city of colourful wooden wharf houses, mountain funiculars, a fish market and the gateway to the fjords.
Bergen sits between seven hills and the sea on Norway's west coast, with the wooden buildings of Bryggen, once the Hanseatic League's trading wharf and now a World Heritage site, lined along the harbour. The steep gabled houses stand in rows with narrow passages between them. Bergenhus Fortress, with the medieval Haakon's Hall, guards the harbour mouth, and Bergen was a capital of Norway in the 13th century.
Top-ranked sights in Bergen: Mt. Floyen (Floyfjellet), Hardangerfjord, Fantoft Stave Church.
