About Salamanca
Salamanca is a golden sandstone city in western Spain, home to one of Europe's oldest universities and a famously beautiful main square.
Salamanca stands on the River Tormes on the high plateau of western Castile and León and is built in a warm golden sandstone that glows at sunset.
