Tours will begin at the corridor of the Southernmost District near the Key West Lighthouse and the home of the infamous author Ernest Hemingway. We will proceed through the Southernmost District and continue onto the neighborhood where the historic "Bahama Village" remains. Your experience will be provided by a fifth generation native of Key West and will include the history, folklore and architecture of traditional Key West.

Bring your walking shoes and a camera as we begin our hour long tour near several prominent landmarks in the Southernmost District. The guided walking tour includes a stroll past the "Southernmost Point in the Continental US" as I define the vibrant history of Key West and the cultures that brought the city to life. About Key West
Key West is the southernmost city in the continental United States, a small Florida Keys island of wooden conch houses, coral reefs and sunset crowds.
Key West lies at the end of the Overseas Highway, the road that hops from island to island for about 180 kilometres from the mainland, and is about 150 kilometres from Cuba. The old town is a grid of narrow streets lined with wooden conch houses trimmed with white fretwork and shaded by palms. Free-roaming chickens wander the pavements.
