About me My name is Caroline, I am a passionate Local Guide. I grew up in this region, studied at Aix University. I love working in the tourism trade as it enables me to meet new people, share my passion for my city and create meaningful moments with visitors from all around the world. I have had the opportunity to live abroad: in the USA and in Belgium. These experiences opened my mind. I know what it feels like to arrive in an unfamiliar place, and it will be a pleasure to help you and make you feel at home:)

About Aix-en-Provence

Aix-en-Provence is an elegant university town in Provence, with plane-shaded boulevards, fountains, markets and the hills Cézanne painted.

Aix-en-Provence was founded by the Romans in 122 BC beside hot springs and later became the capital of Provence. The Cours Mirabeau, a broad avenue shaded by plane trees, divides the old town from the newer quarter, with cafés on one side and old mansions on the other, and fountains run in the small squares behind. Thermal springs still feed its baths.
