خط السير
Embark on a half/ full day city tour of Accra visiting the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and Park, final resting place of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the first President of Ghana. The Mausoleum has been visited by many world dignitaries.
Stop at the Independence Square, Accra’s open-air ceremonial grounds where all national celebrations are held, for photo opportunity.
Visit the uniquely designed caskets shop where caskets are produced based on the African belief of life after death. Therefore caskets are designed to reflect the earthly profession of the deceased with the belief that they can continue to practice this profession in the other world. Hence a bus driver will be buried in a bus, a teacher in a book, a doctor in a syringe, etc.
Drive through Old Accra which was divided into Dutch and British Accra as a result of the two European nations operating from different locations within the same township of a little under 1sq kilometer. Drive past James Fort built by the British in 1662, Old Accra Square and the Post Office. See Ussher Fort, one of three European forts in Accra which have survived the times.

About Accra
Accra, Ghana's capital on the Gulf of Guinea, mixes colonial forts, independence monuments, busy markets, beach bars and a famed music scene.
Accra lines the Atlantic coast, and its older districts keep the character of a trading port. In Jamestown, an old fishing quarter, a lighthouse stands beside Dutch and British forts, and boxing gyms spill onto the lanes. Black Star Square, with its Independence Arch, and the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park honour Ghana's first president and independence in 1957, while the W. E. B. Du Bois Centre remembers the writer who spent his final years here.
Top-ranked sights in Accra: Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and Memorial Park, W. E. B. Du Bois Memorial Centre for Pan-African Culture, Makola Market.
