Walk leisurely with your private guide who shows you the best of Prague. Take a tram to the castle to get there faster with less steps. It also shows you our wonderful public transportation system. This is a comprehensive, private tour of the best places in Prague. Old Town Square, the Astronomical Clock, Wenceslas Square, Charles Bridge and more.
After your guide picks you up at your hotel, you walk together to the below sites. Part of the way is a tram ride up to the castle. The sequence of the sites depends on your hotels location. The tour does not include inside visits, however, these can be included once we communicate. Please note, Jewish Quarter sites are closed on Saturdays and during Jewish holidays. Old Town Square Astronomical Clock Paris Street with its fancy shops Jewish Quarter sites such as the Maisl, Pinkas, Klaus and Old New Synagogues. Vltava River Wenceslas Square Church of our lady of the snows Municipal House Powder Tower Charles Bridge (walk over it) Prague Castle courtyards St. Vitus Cathedral Church of the Infant Jesus of Prague Tram ride to the castle Old Castle Steps Lennon Wall The Devils Stream
The very center of old Prague. This is where the markets were held and still are, where history happened and where you find the Astronomical Clock
This is a clock on the Astronomical Clock Tower with an hourly attraction. Saint come out, figures move, etc. An incredible feat built in 1410. We view it from the outside. To go up the tower is possible but would incur entrance fees. The face of the clock is free to watch from the square.
Jewish history of Prague comes to life in the former ghetto. The sites we see from the outside are the Old-New, Maisl Klaus and Pinkas synagogues. To enter the sites, more time and paid entrance fees would be needed. The famous and unique Old Jewish cemetary is possible after the entrance fees are paid.
We cross the Vltava river while walking over via the Charles Bridge. It is the lifeline of the city and the reason why the city was built here centuries ago.
This is one of the main squares in Prague named after our patron saint, St. Wenceslas. Here is where the 1968 invasion of Prague culminated, where Jan Palach and Jan Zajic took their own lives, where the former Horse Gate stood and where we find the National Museum.

Prague's skyline of spires rises over the Vltava, with a hilltop castle, statue-lined bridge and a medieval old town that survived largely intact.
Prague Castle, one of the largest castle complexes anywhere, crowns the hill of Hradčany, with St Vitus Cathedral at its centre and the tiny houses of Golden Lane tucked behind. Below, the Lesser Town's Baroque palaces and terraced gardens lead down to the Charles Bridge, lined with statues of saints and busy from dawn.
Top-ranked sights in Prague: Charles Bridge (Karluv Most), Prague Castle (Pražský Hrad), Prague Old Town Square (Staromestské Námestí).
