You will be picked up by our local EXPERT at the lobby of your hotel in Yangon city. We start by exploring Sule Pagoda and 19th-century British colonial buildings in downtown areas. Learn the history of Yangon and the current situation of Yangon.
We take you to 26 st local market where you can mingle with locals and we will drop into one of the holiest temples, Musmeah Yeshua Synagogue. Note: Synagogue is closed on Sunday
Followed by a visit to the popular Boyoke market (Scott market) and of course, you can practice your bargaining skill with local vendors.
We hit the road to Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha to observe the beliefs & customs of local people and hear the story of Buddha.
Eventually, we experience the holiest pagoda of Myanmar as locals and you will witness people bows down at the shrine and recite verses in praise of the Buddha. Also encounter with the people those sweep on the grounds, light candles and put fresh flowers in the vase. About Yangon
Yangon, Myanmar's largest city, is a river port of colonial buildings and temples crowned by the gold stupa of the Shwedagon Pagoda.
Yangon spreads beside the Yangon River in the delta of the Irrawaddy. The Shwedagon Pagoda, a gilded stupa nearly a hundred metres high on a hill above the city, is its great monument and a place of daily worship, reached by covered stairways. Near the centre, the Sule Pagoda stands in the middle of a traffic roundabout. Yangon was the national capital until the mid-2000s.
