No need for any prior experience, the instructor will teach you the basics and guide you every step of the way. Do you wish to do a private tour, longer or shorter, we will gladly tailor something perfectly suited your schedule and expectations. Make sure you wear warm clothes. About Trondheim

Trondheim is a historic city on a fjord in central Norway, with a great medieval cathedral, a wooden-house quarter on the river and many students.

Trondheim stands where the Nidelva river bends into the Trondheimsfjord, and was founded by the Viking king Olav Tryggvason in 997. Nidaros Cathedral, built over the grave of St Olav, is the largest medieval building in Scandinavia, with a richly carved west front, and pilgrims have walked to it for centuries. Across the Old Town Bridge, Bakklandet has timber houses painted in bright colours and cafés, and old wooden warehouses stand on stilts along the river.
