5Fabulous Fun!!
My husband, son and I really enjoyed this tour. Felipe and Andreina were super competent and so friendly. Felipe gave a thorough safety talk at the beginning and we were completely outfitted at the home base before heading off for the river. The ride was exhilarating, the scenery incredibly beautiful and I even worked up the courage to choose the option of jumping off a rock into the river half way through the trip (not sure if that is always available though). Felipe and Andreina took videos and photographs during the trip and so we have lots of wonderful memories. The tour ended with some drinks and snacks--which we devoured after our hard work on the river :). We had an international group from Chile, USA and Germany and was very nice to chat with everyone. I highly recommend it for families, couples, solo travelers - everyone and anyone!
5Excellent way to explore the area!
Epic option for a half day trip! Incredible river with fun rapids and lovely guides. They take a few pics and videos so you have some images as keepsake, and were able to facilitate in English. There is the option to swim in the river and shoot one of the rapids clinging to the outside of the raft! Decent equipment and professional approach, timing estimate was relatively accurate. Nice also to experience the scenery on the way out to the volcano if you don’t have a car. I would recommend the afternoon slot as the mountain and surrounds can be hidden by clouds in the morning and early afternoon. Short beer and fresh pizza slice afterward was a nice touch. Excellent value for money!
5Such a unique adventure!
Such a cool experience! Beautiful views, attentive and good guides. Perfect amount of excitement without being too dangerous. Our guide Felipe was the best!
5A Must Do when in Puerto Varas!
Amazing rafting experience in Puerto Varas! We had such a good time with our guides, who took care of all details. Wetsuits, with booties, helmets, life jackets were all provided. Bring a change of clothes because you WILL get wet and you’ll love it.
5Great value - especially...
Great value - especially compared to ones we did in argentina. Go at the front for the best experience. Very goof safety - full briefing and 2 safety kayaks Then offered photography - but the whole group had to pay, not just those who wanted it (it was either we all got it, or no-one did)
5Rafting
Really enjoyed this experience. Felipe, our guide, was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor!

About Puerto Varas
Puerto Varas is a lakeside town in southern Chile, set on Lake Llanquihue beneath the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes with a German-settler stamp.
Puerto Varas sits on the shore of Lake Llanquihue, one of Chile's largest lakes, with the snow-capped cone of Osorno volcano standing across the water and the jagged Calbuco close by. German families settled the region from the 1850s, and the wooden houses with steep shingled roofs and the gardens full of roses along the lakefront still show their influence.
