We visit the small towns of Ponta Delgada, Boaventura and São Jorge. Get yourself involved with the beautiful green and rough landscapes of the North of Madeira. You will arrive at Santana next, home of the island’s famous thatched houses that have existed here for many years, having become synonymous with Madeira. Continue the tour onto Faial and stop by a local viewpoint to marvel at the majestic landscape of the valley and also the brand-new sky glass viewpoint of Guindaste. We end up our tour visit the Rum factory in Porto da Cruz where you can have a try of our local rum and liquor.

About Funchal
Funchal is the capital of Madeira, a Portuguese island in the Atlantic, set on steep green hills with flower-filled gardens and a seafront old town.
Funchal spreads up a steep hillside above a natural harbour on Madeira's south coast. The old town, the Zona Velha, has narrow lanes with painted doors and small restaurants, and the cathedral dates from around 1500. The Mercado dos Lavradores sells tropical fruit, fish and flowers in a hall decorated with blue tiles. A cable car climbs from the harbourfront to Monte, high above.
