2. Hozenji Yokocho Tucked away just steps from Dotonbori, Hozenji Yokocho feels like stepping back in time. This narrow, stone-paved alley is lined with traditional lanterns, cozy izakaya, and old-style shops that give a glimpse of Osaka’s past. Travelers will photograph the famous Mizukake Fudo statue covered in moss, capture the warm glow of lanterns, and practice low-light shooting techniques that highlight texture and atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to explore contrast, composition, and storytelling through quiet street scenes.
