With a total of nine hundred and fifty-three windows and standing up to a height of 15 meter, the five-storied palace was built for the royal ladies by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in the year 1799.

About Jaipur

Jaipur, the Pink City of Rajasthan, is a royal capital of forts, palaces and bazaars set against the rugged Aravalli hills.

The old city's walls enclose a grid of streets painted terracotta pink, laid out in the eighteenth century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II.
