On your way to Essaouira, make a stop at an Argan oil cooperative, learning how the golden oil is produced using traditional techniques. Upon arrival in Essaouira, set out on a short guided walking tour to get your bearings in the UNESCO-listed historic center, which is ringed by fortifications with great views of the ocean. Then enjoy free time to see and do what you want. About Marrakech
At the foot of the Atlas Mountains, red-walled Marrakech is famed for its maze-like medina, lively main square and tranquil riads and gardens.
