Tick off all of the city’s spectacular sights during this in-depth sightseeing tour, covering two UNESCO World Heritage Sites. After transfer by private car from your New Delhi hotel to the train station, where reservation lines can take an hour or more, board a comfortable, air-conditioned carriage with your prebooked tickets and enjoy a free breakfast on the short journey to Agra. Direct pickup at Agra Station whisks you away to the iconic 17th-century Taj Mahal, built by emperor Shah Jahan. Then, head to Agra Fort, a spectacular fortress complex containing a mosque and palace. About New Delhi

New Delhi pairs the stately avenues of India's capital with the bazaars and Mughal monuments of Old Delhi, a city of layered empires and great food.

The planned capital centres on a grand ceremonial avenue running from India Gate to Rashtrapati Bhavan, the presidential palace. Nearby, Humayun's Tomb, a forerunner of the Taj Mahal, sits in formal gardens, and the Qutub Minar, a towering sandstone minaret, rises in the south. The Lotus Temple and the vast Akshardham complex add striking modern landmarks.

Top-ranked sights in New Delhi: India Gate, Jama Masjid (Masjid e Jahan Numa), Chandni Chowk.
