Welcome to Bamberg, the magical city on the Regnitz! Immerse yourself in the beauty and history of this UNESCO World Heritage city. Stroll through the winding streets of the old town, discover the picturesque Little Venice with its half-timbered houses and idyllic boats. Marvel at the imposing Bamberg Cathedral, a masterpiece of Romanesque architecture. Enjoy a cool smoked beer in the legendary Schlenkerla. About Bamberg

Bamberg is an old town in northern Bavaria spread over seven hills and a river, with an imperial cathedral, a fishermen's quarter and smoked beer.

Bamberg lies in Upper Franconia on the Regnitz river, and its medieval and baroque old town, spread over seven hills, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993. The four-towered cathedral holds the tomb of Emperor Henry II and the Bamberg Horseman, a mysterious knight carved in stone in the thirteenth century. The Old Town Hall stands on an artificial island in the river, linked by two bridges, with painted frescoes on its facade.
