About Perth

Perth is the capital of Western Australia, a sunny Indian Ocean city on the Swan River with a large hilltop park, white beaches and the port of Fremantle.

Perth sits where the Swan River widens into a broad estuary on the Indian Ocean coast, and it is often described as one of the most remote large cities in the world, with Adelaide more than two thousand kilometres to the east.
