On to The Circus, my favourite part of Bath (lived there as a student) on to The No.1 address in Bath The Royal Crescent with all its history & film sets. We return through The Royal Victoria park with it stunning floral displays passing our excellent Theatre Royal . We finish by The Bath Thermae our newish bathing attraction fully informed about Bath leaving you free to explore further. The perfect way to see Bath NO YOUNG CHILDREN OR PUSHCHAIRS PERMITTED

Starting outside The Abbey Hotel near the old city wall. The Bath Abbey, Roman Baths & Pump Rooms explained (ADMISSION NOT INCLUDED) We pass Sally Lunn's Bath's oldest house & tea shop. The Pulteney Bridge and Guildhall Market. We explore the old medieval alleys of Bath leading to the old city wall From here we can explore Georgian Bath properly with Queen Square, The Circus with Assembly Rooms before taking in John Wood's masterpiece The Royal Crescent. Many great photo opportunies available en route A stroll downhill passing The Jane Austen Centre & Bath Thermae will return us to the Abbey where the tour would end. All the famous people of the 1700s mentioned as so many passed through Bath at that time. Many of these have influenced the modern would today. 5Great tour
Despite the cold and non-stop rain, we had a really interesting walk/talk with Paul yesterday. He's very knowledgeable about all things Bath and we learned and saw a lot that we would have completely missed.
5Funny and knowledgeable.
We had a fantastic tour of Bath with Paul. It was extra special as it was just with me, my wife and son. Even though it was a small group for Paul he still gave us his full attention. Paul was so knowledgeable and we enjoyed learning all about the history of Bath. Fantastic city. We loved Paul's humour. He was very witty and made the tour great fun. Brilliant job Paul.

About Bath
Bath, in the west of England, is a Georgian spa city of honey-coloured stone, built around natural hot springs first used by the Romans.
Bath's hot springs were first enclosed by the Romans, who built a temple and bathhouse complex here in the first century, now the Roman Baths museum beside Bath Abbey. In the eighteenth century the city rebuilt itself as a fashionable spa in pale local limestone, and the terraces and crescents designed by John Wood the Elder and the Younger, including the Circus and the Royal Crescent, give it its look. The whole city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
