Asakusa is a place you can experience the atmosphere of Edo Shitamachi / the old town Tokyo. We have Sensoji Temple, the oldest temple in Tokyo, which pulls in 30 million visitors each year. The famous Kaminarimon (a.k.a. the “Thunder Gate”) and Nakamise shopping street is also around this area. The best way to enjoy Asakusa is strolling along the street while dressing up in beautiful kimonos. Asakusa Aiwafuku is a trustworthy kimono rental store. Our store is run by an experienced owner, who has been working in Japanese kimono industry for over 40 years. We prepare more than 800 basic kimonos in our shop. Besides, our stuffs are able to speak in both English and Chinese. Thus, there’s no need to worry about the communication. Our store is in a three-minute walk from Asakusa Station, and it’s very convenient to visit Sensouji, Kaminarimon, and the Tokyo Sky Tree from our store.
