5Amazing walking tour of Chefchoen
We took this tour with Mohammed. He met us at our hotel and then took us through the Medina, providing history and valuable insights from a local perspective along the way. We loved his enthusiasm and he took us to all the best picture spots. He took us to the locals section of the bazaar and prob saved us a lot of money avoiding the tourist traps. He also pointed out a hidden-away seafood restaurant for lunch that was amazing! Thank you Mohammed for a great tour!
5Great moment in this tour :)
Mohmed was a friendly and considerate person. As I joined the tour on 6 December, the weather was not good, he was willing to change the time to avoid raining time yesterday. I am grateful to join this tour as the sharing of this small city was great from him, also, the guided tour was very organised. Luckily, I booked this tour during my stay in chefchaouen.

About Chefchaouen
Chefchaouen is a mountain town in northern Morocco whose old medina is washed in blue, set among the Rif hills with hiking trails nearby.
Chefchaouen was founded in 1471 as a small fortress against Portuguese raids and grew when Muslim and Jewish refugees from Spain settled here. Its old town, the medina, is a maze of steep lanes and houses washed in shades of blue, with painted doors and pots of flowers. The main square, Plaza Uta el-Hammam, is dominated by the red-walled kasbah and the Great Mosque with its octagonal minaret.
Top-ranked sights in Chefchaouen: Chefchaouen Medina, Place Outa el Hammam, Kasbah Museum.
