行程
Discover the wonders of Chartres Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Gothic masterpiece, with this self-guided audio tour on our mobile app. Begin outside, where you’ll see why the towers look so different—the 12th-century South Tower and the taller, flamboyant North Tower built after a 16th-century fire. At the ornate North and South portals, uncover biblical stories carved in stone, from the Nativity to the Last Judgment. Inside, admire the cathedral’s stunning stained glass, including the Notre Dame de la Belle Verrière with its famous “Chartres Blue,” along with treasures like the South Rose Window, the Passion Window, and the Life of Christ Window. Explore the Renaissance choir screen and learn how a 19th-century fire inspired the bold 600-ton copper roof.
