Prolific marine life: Manta rays, whale sharks, eagle rays, schooling fish, humpback whales, dolphin, white tip reef sharks, eels, puffers and turtles can be seen on most dives. Dive sites are perfect for students. Start your pool training in the afternoon on Day One then dive 2-tanks with your instructor the following morning. Playa Hermosa is a quiet beach village in Guanacaste on Costa Rica's north-west Pacific coast, with a curved bay and sunsets over the water.

Playa Hermosa lies in the Gulf of Papagayo on the Pacific side of north-west Costa Rica, in the province of Guanacaste. The beach curves around a calm bay, with a few hotels and restaurants along it and low hills of dry forest behind. It is small and relaxed, with Playas del Coco, the nearest larger beach town, a short drive to the south-west.
