A palace gifted to Sita by Queen Kaikeyi after her marriage to Ram, Kanak Bhawan is known as the “Golden Palace.” Inside, you’ll see exquisitely adorned idols of Ram and Sita, glowing with divine grace. The intricate mirror work, delicate frescoes, and golden crowns remind us of Treta Yug, when Ram Rajya meant not just governance, but grace, love, and justice. 4. This is the ghat where Lord Ram is believed to have taken Jal-Samadhi, returning to his celestial form as Vishnu. It is said that from Guptar Ghat, he ascended to Vaikuntha — a divine departure witnessed only by the faithful. The ghat is peaceful, powerful. Even the silence here chants "Ram Ram". The ghats come alive during the evening Saryu Aarti, when lamps are floated on the river, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. Now known as the Gupta Rameshwara, the cave has become one of the most revered sites at the ghat, attracting pilgrims.
