Our choice of itineraries includes many fantastic routes in beautiful parts of South Sri Lanka. This 90 Km ride will take about 5-7 hours depending on your pace.

06.00 AM - You will be greeted and picked up by our TUK TUK driver and driven you to the starting point. 06.30 AM - On arrival to the starting point, our cycling guide will give you a brief introduction and safety requirements about the tour. Thereafter, you will start the cycling ride with your 10-speed alloy frame jaguar racing bike. 07.00 AM – Along the way you will explore Fantastic road cycling in the heart of southern Sri Lanka. Our cycling crew and guide are dedicated to ensure that you will have the best cycling ride in Sri Lanka. Riding on quiet country lanes sporting tour takes you on a journey of discovery through the Akuressa countryside by rivers, lakes with view over spectacular mountains, lush green paddy fields, working tea plantation, rubber cultivation, cinnamon plantation, topical palms and many beautiful local villages. You will get stops along the way for king coconut and fruit. You will have a truly wonderful experience. 11.30 AM - After an enjoyable cycling tour, you will be taken back to your hotel in Galle by our TUK TUK driver. 12.00 PM - You will be dropped off to your hotel.

About Galle

Galle is a southern Sri Lankan port city whose Dutch-era fort, with ramparts above the sea, shelters cafés, churches and old merchant houses.

Galle Fort was started by the Portuguese in the late sixteenth century and extensively built by the Dutch in the seventeenth, and it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Inside its thick sea walls, people still live and work among Dutch-style houses, mosques, churches and small galleries. A circuit of the ramparts at sunset, passing the lighthouse and the clock tower, is the favourite local walk.
