Haven't heard of the most beautiful fresco paintings from medieval Serbian period. This is the place where you find them. Monastery of Sopoćani is a magnificent place with it's vivid fresco paintings more than 6 hundred years old. Did someone tell you that the special blue color used for frescos here was made of Lapis lazulie a mineral which was as expensive as gold. Witness it yourself!
