亮点

When you are already on the Makarska Riviera it is a pity not to visit Split, the capital and tourist center of Dalmatia. You can see 1700 years old Diocletian's Palace and the old part of the city at night when it is not as hot as during the day. Feel the pulse of the city nightlife when everyone goes out to restaurants, cafes, pubs or just for a walk. You can see the city's street programs and freelance artists. So, treat yourself to one visit to a city that is claimed to be a "Living Legend".

行程

  1. Visit Split at night when there are less visits by cruisers and buses. Avoid the heat of the day and take a pleasant walk through the royal palace with a guide to get to know the city that we say is a living legend. Use your free time for shopping, having a dinner in one of the local taverns, or simply enjoy your walk and take some time for yourself and experience the laid-back lifestyle the locals are famous for. The city is bursting with life. A waterfront promenade gets really busy in the evening. Tourists, as well as locals, get together at the waterfront to eat, drink, watch street performances, or just relax. See and feel why we say : “there is no town like Split town“.

About Makarska

Makarska is a Dalmatian seaside town beneath the Biokovo mountains, with a pebble bay, a palm-lined promenade and a long riviera of beaches.

Makarska lies on a wide bay on the Dalmatian coast, sheltered by a wooded peninsula and backed by the grey limestone wall of the Biokovo mountains. The small old town centres on Kačić Square, where the church of St Mark stands, and a palm-lined promenade follows the harbour past cafés and fishing boats. The Franciscan monastery holds a museum of sea shells.
